CONNECTIONS RECOVERY... helping each other work through the addictions, obsessions, and scars in life. Our Mission is Faith-based Recovery.
At CONNECTIONS RECOVERY, we take seriously our mission to provide a safe and caring environment. Connections Recovery believes that addiction is a primary disease that results in the loss of the ability to manage one’s own life. Our goal is to...
...assist and support individuals in their journey of recovery so they can live healthy and productive lives.
...help empower them (not enable them), through Jesus Christ, to break the cycle of addiction.
...help them to learn to deal with the scars that remain.
...help guide them on a lifelong path of recovery.

It does not matter why you come, nor does it matter where you are in your recovery. Many of us have been where you are and understand how difficult it is to take those first steps. No one becomes an addict by choice! There is HOPE for the future.
We believe that Christ can set us free from addiction to drugs, alcohol, pornography, anger, compulsive food issues, lying, gambling and much more. He can help us replace those life-debilitating habits with positive productive habits that will improve our quality of life. It is our prayer that by sharing our experience, strength, and hope, you will experience the amazing healing power of Jesus Christ.
God's grace means to get something that you do not deserve. Many times we feel undeserving of anything good, yet Romans 3:23 says, “For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard”, which tells me that NO ONE IS PERFECT and God understands. He understands so much that He sent His Son, Jesus Christ to die on the cross for our sins. In doing so, He paved the way for everyone to find hope in dealing with his or her struggles; their scars, obsessions and their addictions.
God is abundant in grace and mercy. God's greatest act of grace is the gift of salvation, which is totally free and available for all people through faith. Ephesians 2:8-9 says, "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast."
2 Corinthians 12:8-9 says, "Three times I pleaded with the Lord about this, that it should leave me. But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.'”
