LOVE GOD • LOVE OTHERS

The GLIA Project is a ministry of Connections Community Church to reach out to the homesless and the hurting of Coos Bay/North Bend, Oregon.
GLIA is the Greek word for GLUE. It represents a state of homeostasis which represents a perfect balance. This is what we all seek... a balance in life. This is what the homeless community seeks. They may not want the house with the white picket fence and the nice car, but they are in need of some form of balance (food, shelter and safety) and many are in need of the love of Jesus Christ.
As a church body, we desire to not enable the homeless, but love and provide basic needs. The GLIA PROJECT is not an ongoing, sustaining project, which enables the individual, but one that helps in a time of need.
If you are interested in being a part of The GLIA PROJECT, please contact Glenda Lanza by emailing her on the form below:

We also have a a Food Pantry available to those within our church fellowship, as well as in our community.
The Connections Food Pantry is open on Sunday's after church and on Tuesday's from 1-4pm. Our food pantry is limited, due to space. So, we are in constant need to restock. If you are interested in donating items to the food pantry, we would appreciate it. Please click on the pdf icon below for a copy of the Food Pantry Wish List, or make a financial donation below.
