OUTREACH

BLANKETS WITH LOVE... is a deep desire to cover the homeless of Coos Bay/North Bend with donated, clean blankets of love from Connections Community Church.  If you would like to donate a used (or new), clean blanket, please send us an email at connectionscommunityinfo@gmail.com.

 

"For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me... I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!" - Matthew 25:34-40 (NLT)

CONNECTIONS COMMUNITY CHURCH provides CARE BAGS for the HOMELESS of our community.  Each CARE BAG consists of hygene items, warm socks and a N.T. Bible.  Individuals from within our church fellowship gathers seceral bags to be handed out when they are out and about in the community.  

PROJECT SACK LUNCH is our monthly opportunity of loving on our community of homeless and needy throughout the Coos Bay/North Bend area.  Once a month (the Lord willing), a team of people gather together at the church and begins to assemble sack lunches, which includes a hearty ham sandwich, chips, pastry dessert, a banana and a bottle of water with a packet of powdered fruit mix.  After lunches are assembled, 3-4 teams beginning to hit the streets to hand out lunches and share the love of Jesus with those in the homeless community.
