Understand that God's solution to the problem is that he has created a BRIDGE, through His Son Jesus Christ... that BRIDGE IS THE CROSS.

 

Jesus Christ died on a cross for your sins and mine.  Three days after being placed in a barrowed tomb, Jesus rose again.  By taking our sins to the cross and rising again from the grave, Jesus bridged the gap that separated us from a holy, just and loving God.

 

The Bible says ...
1 Timothy 2:5 says, "There is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus."

 

1 Peter 3:18 says, "Christ suffered for our sins once for all time. He never sinned, but he died for sinners to bring you safely home to God. He suffered physical death, but he was raised to life in the Spirit."

 

Romans 5:8 says, "But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners."

 

God has provided the only way, the only truth and the only life that will bring you back to Him.
