WHAT TO EXPECT

 

We totally understand how difficult it is, sometimes, to visit a new church for the first time.  You ask yourself questions like...

 

  • "Do I belong here?"

  • "Am I really welcome?"

  • "Will the people be unfriendly, or too friendly?"

  • "How should I dress?"

  • "Am I welcome if I don’t believe?"

The Connections Family wants to make your visit an enjoyable experience, easy, stress-free and relaxing. Our desire is to create such an envirorment that you will walk away knowing that you are cared for by a group of people just like you.

THE SERVICE

The service usually begins with a welcome and some announcements. One of our worship teams lead us in a time of praise and worship.  Our pastor teaches for about 30-40 minutes (give or take). Our pastor desires to make the messages interesting, enjoyable, and relevant to daily life.  Check out our teachings on our Connections YouTube Channel.  It is our hope that you will walk away having heard a solid Biblical message that you will be able to apply to your life.

WHAT ABOUT MY CHILDREN?

We are excited about our KID'S CHURCH ministry under the leadership of Aaron and Deanna Vollmer.  On Sunday mornings, our children join the church family for a time of praise and worship.  Following the praise and worship time, our children go upstairs for a time of teaching and crafts.  Each of our volunteers have passed a complete background check.

 

WHAT BIBLE TRANSLATION DO YOU USE?

Our pastor usually teached from the New King James Version (NKJV) and New Living Translation (NLT) of the Bible. However, from time to time, other versions are used to gain a better understanding of Scripture.
